We've been about since 1993 putting on shows, Murder Mystery dinners and attending other events like the annual Markyate Fayre (we have actually won "best float" a couple of times too!!).

Dick Whittington - 2008
Dick Whittington was performed in the February of 2008 and once again, involved some piratical swashbuckling, a dashing hero, a gorgeous heroine, but slightly more unusually, a cat. Our hero’s tale (following the cat) took the audience on a whirlwind tour from Markyate to London, to the middle of the ocean, to a shipwrecked shore of the Barbary Coast and back to London again.
It was a show filled with crazy characters and very wild antics, as well as some grass skirted young ladies whose coconuts had to be seen to be believed!
Cinderella - 2005
MADS Cinderella was a show that opened a whole new perspective to the concept of community theatre… Our beautiful Cinderella and our very handsome prince found that there was not only fireworks on-stage they actually got married in August 2008!!!
The show was a very magical, shimmering experience, with pumpkins and mice turning into coaches and footmen before the audiences eyes! Buttons sang beautifully, the fairy Godmother dazzled everyone with her amazing blonde wig and magical charm, ‘Andy was ridiculously funny (in the worst sort of way) and the Prince and his Cinders made everyone’s hearts melt… Aawwwww!
